Hi, We raised these that last couple of years, and they are just beautiful. The stems are long and sturdy,
perfect for cut and dried flowers. This is one of those flowers in the "everlasting" category. Meaning that
the blooms have a papery dry feeling to them even as they grow, unlike most flower petals. In this way,
they are similar to Bikini, and Strawflower, and Pierrot.
These are used widely by florists in fresh flower arrangements, but these retain color indefinitely....
long after all the other flowers are faded away, so they can be re-used over and over.
Flowers grow in bunches the shape of a comb. The plants are resistant to heat, drought, and salt spray.
Also, these will come back as a perennial in some climates, but like annuals, they flower first year from seed.
So they can be grown anywhere. You may want to start them indoors to get a head start on the season if you
have a short season. Grows best in full sun, but will take some light shade
