Aruncus perennial, a member of the rose family, is native to Japan and North America and, as a European cultivar, has been around since Roman times.
The Plant is adaptable and hearty, most suited for hardiness zones 3-7, with few pests or threats. In colder, northern climates, this Plant does best with lots of direct sunlight, whereas, in warmer southern regions, particularly the American south, the Plant will need a shady reprieve.
