It is a beautiful tree for 25’+ that gets green leaves and nice deep pink (or as close to red as can be found) bracts and tiny yellow flowers (the “flowers” that most people see on Dogwoods are actually bracts, and the actual flowers are tiny and yellow and they are in the center of the bracts) in spring. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 4 or possibly colder with protection. As with many specialty varieties, there can be a degree of variance in the seeds, and you may get plants with varying characteristics.
